Well had a flat battery yesterday and recharged over night

Car started fine this morning and reset computer whilst car running and now the SRS light is on....should i have reset the computer with the car not running....or do i need to disconnect the battery again and reset whilst the car is off...????

How did you reset the computer with the car running?

Are you talking about the trip computer?

My SRS light is on atm, you need to get it reset by Mitsu apparently, I've been quoted $55 to do it. This is why I haven't got mine fixed yet and we're trying to do it with the diagnostics cable you can buy and plug into your own computer. Gonna try again next Thursday, I'll let you know how we go if yours isn't fix by then.
