hey all

Well I finally went down and bought a Manual Conversion kit for my TF. $750 later and I am almost ready to install

Just one question

they told me that I shouldn't need the ecu but if I end up needing it they'll throw it in as well. so I go and grab it anyway?

I'll write up a how to with pics along the way if anyone is interested (I did a search and couldn't find anything with a detailed fitment).

any other advice on problems others have found while installing it would be appreciated.

mine was real easy to do..didn't use the manual ecu and haven't had any probs at all... good luck with it mate

i got my clutch thru phillcom very happy with it so far

WOW where did you get the conversion kit from? thats cheap

When you use the auto ecu, that just involves tricking the ecu into thinking the car is always in neutral doesn't it?

you just have to join 2 wires together... make sure you get the plug for the reverse lights dude...

Yep, thats right.

Good luck with conversion. Will be the best mod you will ever do on your car. I've done it and its awesome. Like a different car. Also, you won't need to change the ECU. Just trick it.

Hehe I might learn manual and do this conversion one day, I'll most likely wait till my engine blows and do a full 6G75/Manual conversion at the same time though, should give some time to save.
