are you talking about the cup holders?

coz it sounds like what you are describing... and thats where they go in the Diamante too ......

search for second gen cup holders here, it might show something up to what you want :)

Yer, its like a little square bit infront of the clock. As far as I can tell it is moulded into the console peice.

Im 99% sure what you mean mate, im sure ive seen it, its like a little mould that sits on the flat part in front of the air vents.

I think they MAY have come standard with the late touring model verada's, do some search for them on here, I think I remember seeing it in a brochure for that car.

Ollie

EDIT: I found it, see the pic below, its from a verada touring brochure, hoepfully it works... And good luck finding one!!!

It's a coin tray from memory. Not sure WHY you would want one.

Who wouldn't want a tacky piece of plastic stuck to their dashboard?? lol

If its a coin tray, isn't that purpose fulfilled with the dedicated coin tray next to the ciggie lighter?

Yep true

I could see that it could come in handy sometimes though, looks like it would hold a pair of sunglasses, though probably wouldnt stay sit for long as I like to corner with a bit of enthusiasm.

And I dont think it looks too good, form takes priority over function sometimes for me, and I dont see it being all that useful, the car has enough storage spaces.

If you cut some of that super sticky rubber stuff to fit it then you could quite easily put sunnies in it.

No. It's from my 1994 Mitsubishi Diamante Espada brochure.

LMAO sure about that? Tsk tsk I never got a PM from you? :bash:

What you're interested in is called an "Oshibori & Utility Tray". Which is translated from "蒸しタオル&ユーティリティトレイ". An oshibori is a hot towel. So basically the optional tray is used to rest hot towels and anything else you like.

I vote this to be one of the hardest accessories to find for the Magna/Diamante.

Whats the point of a hot towel holder if it doesnt heat the towel up? Pretty pointless warming up a towel in your house then running out to your car, putting it in a little tray and using it for several minutes before it turns cold again:bowrofl:

Whats the point of a hot towel holder if it doesnt heat the towel up?...I guess you could put the heater on hot full blast.

YOu can get cup holders that mount above the climate control, I sold mine to Dimi ages ago.

These are obviously different to the one that Dimi has shown in the pic.

You also have to have climate control as they will not fit with the cable control heating
