now the other day i couldn start the car at all so i had to get it towed to my mechanic and he told me it was my inhibitor switch[why car wasnt starting],now my car starts fine and for some reason my car changes gears perfect starts without a problem
can anyone explain ?

Yes.

Your car had an issue, you paid a mechanic to find the problem and he repaired it.

This is generally how good business works.

Seriously though, the Inhibitor switch is part of the transmission electronics so it could have played a part in the other transmission issues you were experiencing....

the inhibitor switch is of course what inhibits you from starting your car in any other gear except for park or neutral. If it is faulty as yours was it will cause faults such as the ones you experienced due to incorrect messages recieved by the TCU/ECU
