Hi Guys,

Trying to change over bulbs of my climate control air-con control.

Having trouble getting the bugger apart and it looks like I might have to manually change the LED bulbs and re-solder rather then put in the new ones I got in the mail today.

I have taken all the screws out of the back of the unit but can't seem to slide the circuit boards out...

Any ideas, anyone done this before?

Sorry cant help you, but im definitely watching with interest. I will probably attempt this some time during the uni holidays, and have the climate control too. I really want all blue if im going to change them.

By the way, have u changed the clock too? Assuming you have the analogue clock like mine, it lights up kinda yellowish, not sure if I should actually leave the clock or change it blue. Not sure if I would like it, so just wandering what your plans are for the clock or some pics if you have done something already!

Clock done already, in Xenon white. If you were following the other LED thread you'll know where to get em. http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59165
I didn't try it in blue, but I think the white will look better anyway.

I am more than happy to send through 2 blues and 2 white leds if u want doesnt look like ill be using all of them because there aren't standard bulb fixtures in this climate control unit... $10 incl. post? PM me if you're interested

I don't have a climate control unit, and can't make out a thing in those photos; you don't have a macro setting do you? An in-focus shot might give some clues.
