I have just bought a TM Magna SE 1985 and I think that the motor has been replaced with one from a later model. The engine number is V511Y29159. I am trying to find out if the motor is unleaded or not. Can anybody assist please

V51 sounds like an leaded one to me.

does the distributor have one vac hose our two?
does the exhaust have the EGR crap hanging off it.
one = leaded, two = unleaded

is the head stamped as an M1 head?

i ran my leaded engine for a while on unleaded until i rebuilt the motor

The distributor has two vac hoses coming from it and the head has M4 on it so it sounds like it might be unleaded
