I'm assuming the AWD has the same suspension as the FWD...

It's about 10mm lower and a tad firmer than base.

According to carsales.com.au research section, they all have the same ground clearance
of 165mm and height of 1435mm. However, their info could be wrong as they also list the
W series as having a wheelbase which is 2mm longer than the J series and the W series
magna has a ground clearance of 158mm only with the same heigh tof 1435mm. See att.

thanks heaps guys. I guess it would be more beneficial to get a rear sway bar instead. Mine doesnt have one

yeah upgraded or a new swaybar makes the car feel completely different handling wise, if you are looking to go a tad lower and make it feel sportier, could go the king low SP they are 30mm lower from standard which you wont scrape on everything as well.

I have to disagree a fraction.

There was a much larger handling increase going from stock Sports Springs, to Lovell springs. The rear sway-bar only had a small increase (all on public roads)

I haven't got an aftermarket sway bar myself, but I only hear good things about them.

If you want to upgrade your suspension, don't bother with the Sports/VR-X equipment - aftermarket is heaps better.

Don't the TJ Sports/VR-X come standard with a rear swaybar, whereas the Exec etc don't? I imagine it'd make a fair difference if there wasn't one to begin with.

Yes yes, my bad.

didnt realise that his car didnt have a stock swaybar.

That said, I would still probably put springs (and shocks) first, swaybar a close second

I suspect his question is specifically regarding replacing the exec kit with the Sports AWD suspension and springs as these are on ebay at the moment...
