hey guys just asking your opinion im having a bit o trouble instaling some ice well mainly the HU i have purchased the adapter from the misu to the hu plug and yet my hu isn't getting any power so i took the adapter and borrowed a multi meter and tested to see if its all good and it is and i checked everything was where it should be and it is and the hu worked for a bit but not any more so im thinking it is the stock wiring loom so i am going to get a tester to see if there is any current on the stock plug (haven't used it for a while as the old hu was spliced in b4 the plug) but can any one think of any other problem??

If it worked for a bit, im guessing it could be that the adapter isnt making contact properly. Try it again and squeeze the connectors together and see if it makes a difference.

If there isnt current and it worked before, check for blown fuses.

the hu has a fuse on it that isnt blown is there one in the fuse box for the hu i will check latter and im certain the connectors are plugged in good spent a good 10 min on them it was kinda weird when it did work there was a weird squeal from the speakers while it was on and then while moving (ie the cables swaying) it would lose power??

i will check the earth make sure it has a good conection

Plug it in, turn on your ignition, and start fiddling with the wires behind there. See if its a faulty connection on one of them. Test there is 12v coming out of the power wire etc. etc.
