Hey Guys,
I got a full system set up in my TF, but I seem to be constantly getting a buzzing sound through my speakers. It's always there, but if I put the system up loud enuff it drowns it out, however, when I have people in the car I have it on low vol and it gets a little annoying. I tried to have a fiddle with the wiring at the back of the deck and I noticed that whenever I touched or moved the RCA plugs, the buzzing will get either louder or a litle softer, but never disappear.
Has anyone got any suggestions?

you have grounding problems somewhere, most likely the way the ground
is set up for the headunit or amp if you have one. Can't remember if the
TFs factory unit ground through the casing of the HU or through a separate
wire. Its either floating grounding or non-floating grounding. Have an auto
sparky check it out.
Better still, have an audio place look at it... they'll know exactly what to go for first. :)
audio places are a rip off......
make sure your RCA's and Power cable arent running together, this could cause interference between the 2 and thats y u are getting the buzzing.......run them on seperate sides of the car.......

if the buzzing increases when you accelerate then you could be getting engine interference as well. a mate of mine had that problem and couldnt get rid of it no matter whathe did. Eventually had to put a inline noise filter in.
The other 2 main possibilities vlad and samurai have already mentioned for which it is most likely. Also agree with Samurai about cost of taking to audio place. not worth it.

Not all audio stores are rip offs Samurai.

lol can you recomend a car audio shop he could visit??
lol, yeah well, u have to say that coz u work at one.....i cant justify paying anymore than $10-20 for a head unit install.
around where i live mates are getting quoted between $70-$110 just to put a bloody CD player in their car.....and to take out an old set of 6x9's and replace with a new set $30..........wtf is that all about, its 8 screws all up!
maybe i've just seen way to many dodgy stereo installs done by "professional" audio places so im a little biased.

True that.. i think $50 tops for h/u depending on what car/ level of work. Like some commodores have to be smashed in order to get the standard h/u out. But as for the rear speakers i think $30 is ok considering the pain in the arse though screws are to get out, although i have put 6x9's in and out of magna's like 5 times now so it doesnt cause so many head aches
