i have alpine type-s 6x9's in the back of my wagon running off a AWA amp. now the thing is the speakers are making buzzing/crackling sounds and cutting out intermittently at anything above LOW volume.
I've checked all the wiring and changed the amps round and its definately the speakers (one is worse than the other)

the question is... Are they blown??? or is there something i'm overlooking?

Can you get hold of a multimeter to check the resistance of the speakers?

i surely can... how do i test it???
