Hey guys,

I'm looking for a specific diagram.

The dome light stays on for a little after closing the door before turning off and I want to tap this wire with a relay for my footwell neons.

Anybody have any idea where to find this pre apart from the headliner? I really don't want to touch the roof, rather tap it in the drivers-side footwell if I can find where it is.

The door trigger wire is green with a red trace. Good Luck

the light fading is controlled by the body electrics module, the easiest way to tap into the fadingness, is to jump on at the wires in the footwell lights, they fade - so will everything else thats attached into that circuit.

welcome to the world of tth TH,i have found that in the TH we dont have a footwell circiut unlike those lucky TJ people...

you can tap into the red wire that runs up the a pillar and run a wire down again and run another wire from fuse 11 in the fuse box to create the circuit you are after....

i did this in order to run my footwell lamps and the ignition lamp,they work a treat....

all the Magna's have these wires. just look for the plugs.
the 90 degree bulb holders plug into these.

Don't have to take much apart.... usually the plastic panel below the steering wheel and the panel below the glovebox and the plugs are right there...

Looks great with some high powered T10 LEDS!

..bit the bullet and did mine on the weekend,lucky people those TJ people,as there is nothing in a TH,anyway,grabbed a ignition switch bulb holder fron a 2nd gen,though any T5 bulb holder will do and joined all the wires together..ie,the two footwell lights and the ignition light and spliced one side into the white/red wire that runs down the a-pillar and after much frustration,and looking at the cd/rom wiring diagram,deduced that i had to plug into fuse 11...now it works a treat...footwell lights,IGNITION SWITCH light and it all works off all four doors and with the remote....though the only thing is the ignition light comes on as well when you open the door,oh well..as originally it comes off the bem...but who cares...i now have my footwell light and my ignition key light...now for those rear map
lights....
