Thinking of buying a set of KYB exel g from a fellow member, and was wondering what people thought about these shocks in general.
What sort of ride and hadling l can expect with the Lovell super lows that i am running and whether or not this is a good combination to run...thanks

I have those shocks on my Rada but have King lows all round. I find the shocks are very good for the price you pay.
They offer good comfort while not making the ride overly harsh with the lowered springs.
Just recently took the car on a country drive with some twisty mountainous roads and was very impressed.
So for good comfort with a spot of spirited driving they are a good choice.
The king springs also work well with the shocks so I'm guessing the lovells will be similar

Had those KYB's in mum's old Liberty. Pretty good for the price we paid ($500 for the set of 4 - probably helped they were GC8 WRX part numbers).

Yes well i'll never go monroes again after changing over the shocks i noticed with shock as my left rear shock piston decided to retract into the shock after i removedthe top nut to release the spring.
These shocks were only 78000km old.

I've got the same shocks but with King lows, and my rims are slamming into the body a hell of alot more often than the previous shocks I had (standard VRX shocks)
Other than that, they do handle well and feel comfy.
