Hey all...

I fitted a muffler last weekend, the TJ sports muffler on a TJ executive, and while it seems to have more noise, it also seems to have less power.

I have heard that the computer takes a while to learn the new mixtures, but what sort of time frame can be expected - and are there any ways of speeding it up?

Heath Young allow a 500km should be enough... mine went through a stage where the economy increased somewhat and then it settled in with more poke!... although, the power increase isn't overly different... its only like 5% which is not a lot... you will notice it up higher though, it will rev out better!

K you have to drive your car hard for it to change how it manages fuel usage etc... i got my zorst on and instant notice in power.. so depends on zorst to i spose. but also i just got a K&N Panel filter installed and at first was no difference... so i took it for a good drive leaving it in 2nd and third drving hard through some mountains etc.. and after 15-20 mins i defiantely noticed a difference. Huge difference with both mods done... not a great difference with just the muffler.(My 2c)
