Can anyone tell me if this has been done to a 3rd gen?
Or can it be done?

I'm getting sick of the system used in the 3rd gens as it chews up boot space.

Any info would be great.

Can't be done. There isn't enough room between the exterior panels and the rubber seal for the boot to mount any of the gear in there.

Coz yeah, the boot is sooo tiny on a 3rd gen.:nuts:

Its because there isnt ample space on the ceiling of the boot to mount the hinges.

Does anyone else know of a similar boot hinge system that might work.
