Hi all, i found myself without a daily driver. So sold my Sportsedan Race car, and have purchased a 1986 TM Elite. It appears nicely kept & maintained, except for the horizontal panels on which the paint is stuffed.
Are there any probs i should watch out for ?
and what fuel should i use ULP, PULP or LRP ?
Cheers

i use unleaded....but thats a 89...???
WELCOME to the forums!
good work with buying a beast of a car....lol
86 should be ULP, but what u do is check the filler part of the petrol tank and there will be a restrictor in there so that LRP nozzles wont fit in there.
Welcome to the first gen club, these cars rule. What u also have to watch out for is the timing chain, they usually last around 100,000ks.
see ya around

Yeah it's an auto, but with 252361k on it it's either near dead or already sorted, i'm hoping for the latter.
Cheers
