My TF is running well, but everytime I sit up 60 or 70ks and take my foot off the pedal and just hold it steady and coast along the car seems to jerk every now and then.

Anyone got an ideas what it could be?

I reckon it could be the torque converter locking and unlocking.

I know in my car going around 60kmh on light throttle in traffic when my overdrive is off, the torque converter always locks up, but u take u back off the accelerator for a sec and it unlocks, then u accelerate the tiniest bit and it locks again, kinda gives a light jerking.

i got a similar issue with mine atm, yet to get around to fix it, mine is so mild that you can only feel it on the smoothest roads, Type40 had something similar with his as well, turn out to be spark plugs, his problem got fixed when he did the 100000km service. i'll have mine looked at at that major service, hopefully its the same problem.

Thread is useless without RPM, speed figures. What kind of jerking motion is it, can you hear any noises? If you lock it in third gear, does it do it then?

Have you checked transmission or engine mounts?

i have a very similar issue at the moment aswell. Only started after my whole injector damaged indicent aswell.

Im betting its probably the spark plug, as it most likely got fouled. Will replace when I get some time to do it, and ill you all know on the results.

I had a corolla that did this...

TPS- throttle position sensor... reset back to factory specs and fixed the problem.
