As some of you may know, i'm currently transplanting the engine/gearbox/etc. from my old TR exec. into my new TR Elite.
It's all going pretty well so far, the engine and drivetrain are in and most stuff is connected now. i've got all the pedals in (and bent the clutch pedal a bit, just to bring it closer to the brake pedal), master cylinder and metal hose for the clutch are in but no fluid yet.
I'm not working on my car now thanks to this damn rain  , but i's rolling now so it can be moved inside when we make some more room in the workshop.
I think i'm almost ready to start the car now, just have to connect the park/neutral wires and a few more things, like the fuel lines
who can help me with the wires, i think i have it figured out now, but do i connect them at the gearbox end or in the cabin?
do i need to keep the auto transaxle ECU or can it be removed along with it's wiring looms?
and what's the deal with the reverse lights, should that plug in or will i have to take the plug from the old car and connect the wires through that?
one last thing.
is anyone interested in buying any of the parts leftover?
i'll be taking what i want as spares and parts i want for mods, but if anyone really wants anything i just may put it aside for you.
the old car is a 1994 TR executive, 2.6L 4cyl.
i'm using it's engine and gearbox.
engine from the elite is blown (i don't know what's wrong, haven't even tried to figure it out)
auto transmission should be good though.
i'll have spare parts like:
-all doors/panels
-all glass
-all interior parts
-seats
-engine parts
-lights
if you are interested in anything (listed or otherwise) just ask me about it; what you want, how much you are willing to pay for it, where you live, etc.
cheers.
