Hey all

I have a 2000 TJ VRX, as i was washing the car the other day i noiced the rear arch flares on BOTH sides are coming loose at the top, pretty crappy for a 3 1/2 yr old car i reckon!! Have also noticed the rubber lining around the front wheel archs has deteriorated a little and dirt & bitumen stones r getting in behind em.....had 2 happen 5 mths outta factory warranty eh!! Lets hope if i decide 2 keep it another year im not up for a refit of the kit eh!!

Anyone who has one, keep an eye on em - esp while in warranty (that is presuming the fitting of the kit is covered).

kit should stay good... prob some bastard trying to 5 finger discount your kit... ;)

My car had that happen.. It was because when they stick the arms under the side of the car to raise it for a service it hits the bottom part of the kit. Pushing the side arch flares up.

If you pull them down from each side it will fix them up. I can post some pics of how to do this if you like (Youll find that youve probably lost a clip that should be at the top of it aswell.).

damn! thats wierd, I havn't had any probs with the kit on my vrx.

Yeah I had that happen on my left flare.. all it was is one of the clips fallen off. I had it replaced on warantee, & it's since happened again. When i get around to gettin a new clip I'll Arildite the F#*ker on!
