Hi all,
I snapped my meter bezel pulling it out to make some aluminium dash rings. This is the black surround piece of plastic which has the trip computer/speed alert and instrument cluster brightness control dial on it.
Well on my new piece from Mitsi, it has another hole next to the instrument cluster brightness control dial. Anyone know what this if for? I am going to have to fill it with something :(
Cheers
Peter

Im trying to find one on the web.. can't so will have to take one later tonight or tomorrow.
Its on a TH (3rd GEN) and is right next to the dash brightness dial above the key hole.
My old one just had the trip control on the left (3 buttons, Up Down and Mode) and the dash brightness dial on the right.

grrr I dont think they will let me take it back as I had to pay for it up front as it was a "non-returnable" item.
That said though I ordered the right part (meter bezel) and gave them my VIN number, model, year etc and they gave me the right part but wrong model... so should they have to take it back?
Anyone want a new meter bezel??

Going by retail, there is no such thing as "non returnable" im pretty sure it's against the law to not offer and exchange/refund under reasonable grounds. If you ordered a part, and they gave you the wrong one, they need to exchange it.
Off topic, but i remember in my years of working in retail, we had to give a refund to a customer who bought shoes, wore them for like 6mths, and returned them because they broke after 6mths of wear... so if he managed to get a refund for that; Im sure you could do the same.
Good luck

Well the good news is, just rang them. I ordered the correct part (MR456359) for the TH but they supplied the wrong part (MR456360) which is for the TF.
So a new one on order and will be here tomorrow morning.
:D
How much did they charge for it?...there a TH part you could have salvaged for next to nothing from U-Pull it down south.

Mail the old one back with a cover note and a prepaid return envelope.
Then ring em and tell em :D
