hey people long time no post.Changed jobs but same company just got alot more work.( and a new Carmy sportivo work car)Ok I am looking for someone living around Ipswich,Goodna,Redbank areas that have a gearbox issue.About 2weeks after getting an engine rebuild and half the front replaced The car has this shudder. Its almost like the auto is about to fall out.it's not there all the time depends if you have driven for a while and the way you drive it.When you take it over a certain speed it goes but then comes back when it changes gears.Had new cv's,plugs, leads etc all about 2mths ago and haven't really driven it anywhere.Maybe 1 to 2 times a week to the shops so everything should be still like new.Gearbox has been drained and correct fluid replaced...filter etc.But not flushed.Tyres are brand new and rims aren't bent.Wheel bearings are new etc.
So if someone around here has had an issue with their box maybe I could take them for a drive and see if problem is the same. And yes I have taken it to gearbox shop and it didn't do it.
Any help would be great. Thanks in advance

I really dont think it is the auto thats why I'm a hoping someone who has had an auto stuff up will know what it felt like to drive and what it was doing.Could compair it then. Was beside you on Ipswich road the other week ...looks good.

does it on level road , up a hill doesn't matter that way. It's go superlows in it but have had them in for a long time now and haven't had this before.Front struts are new aswell.
I know how annoying the shudder is, am experiencing it myself too.
I had Denmac Mitsubishi do a thorough transmission flush and computer check, including a 30-minute drive on normal roads + highways -- Everything transmission-wise checked out normal.
They strongly suspect the driveshafts.
Apparently Denmac said you can visually identify a faulty driveshaft. Not being mechanically-minded I can't substantiate this claim with my own findings however.
So perhaps you may wish to have the driveshafts looked over? Apparently the TE-TW driveshafts will tend to go funny, thus causing a shudder, if the car has been subject to driving over potholes and kerbs at higher speeds

justin just had both shafts replaced. Then took it elsewhere to have them checked and apparently they are both fine ( replaced with brand new ones not reco)how ever i think it's the right hand side that has an inner cv ? it separate to the right drive shaft and comes out of the box as a unit by itself??
Yes I believe so.....not totally sure, but the right-hand-side rings a bell.
