howdy all as the thread states i want to remove my headlights,my wifes tj ones have a crack in them and they are yellow and i was gonna swap em over with my tf ones?,now do i have to remove the grills to do this or just the bolts at the top
i bought halogens and i thought i might as well remove them do the chance of bulbs and put em back in

Pretty sure the front bar and grille have to come off.

Did this a few weeks ago:
Take off grille
Take out indicators
Theres like 3 screws on the indicator side and like 4 bolts at top and opposite side of the assembly to take out
It should just slide out, but may be a bit fiddly.
parker what you did was remove a parabolic light, pretty confident I read somewhere the standard lights are different, and involve removing the front bar in addition to the grille. Could be wrong.

So the normal lights have extra support over the 2 peice paras:nuts: ??? Thats kinda retarded. I know the one peice paras need the front bar to be moved.
