hey all i got sick of my suede roof lining so i have taken it out to do a custom embossing design
this is what it will look like when i am finished
just gotta lay the leather down then trim over it
tell me what ya all think????

lol when i first saw the picture i was like is that it finished?

What did you actually do?
like i see you've applied a stencil but how is that going to be transferred into an embossed logo type thing

well most embossing is done with cardboard but cardboard crinkles when pushed in so what i use is grade 4 leather [really thick]
stencil it out [which has been done] then once its been cut out of leather you lay it down the way you want it spray paint over it so it sits right
then glue the leather down to where you have stencilled ,then spray glue down then lay your material over the top and push in and around the creases with a roller aand its done

looks good maybe suggest making the middle arrow shorter and putting a set of map lights up there

abt $20 from the wreckers, the 2nd gen ones will work, there slightly different as the 3rd gen have a few packing washes glued to the bracket.

well all the leather is done on mine already so i might leave this mod for the missus's tj mate all i gotta do now is lay the black suede over the top and fit it to my car mate
