Eng Vin # should have the engine model, so 6g72 or 6g74, 3.0L and 3.5L respectively.

Look at the plate in the engine bay, it'll tell you the engine.

Also the rego sticker will tell the capacity too.

If it doesnt have engine plates or a VIN then that sounds pretty damn dodgey to me hey. So it SHOULD have them.
And TH's are 3.5 I don't think they had any other engine in them other then 6G74 :?

Oh, they definately had the 3.0. In fact, you could still get the 3.0 in the TJ.

Yeah, here's a demo that's available:

Interesting that it's got paras too but it's a 3.0l Exec.

lol  3L exec my arse. That's a 3.5L TJ Sports.. even has the 3.5 on the sides and Sports badge on the boot, not to mention the white faced dials and Sports alloys. Some dealers are so stupid.

Well, there you go. I didn't look at the ad closely. Thought it didn't add up when it's got alloys, rear wing and paras.

Wonder if you could get a comparable price of a similar spec car and pull the woll over their eyes?
