hey guys

as some of u know, my magna is full of lcd screens everywhere. well, yesterday when installing another in the boot i noticed one of my headrest ones do not work. checked the power, earth, fuse etc all fine. then looked at it very closely and noticed a "burnt in" "e" (the brand). just after some clarification on whether it is, as i suspect- stuffed and whether this would be a fault of install (i couldnt see how with the fuse fine etc) or the product is defective. just wanna be 110% sure on my facts before i go chasing the warranty.

cheers guys

more likeley because you have been driving around with the screen on but no picture showing.... generally doesn't stop the screen from working though...

Did you try taking it out of the head rest (if that's not too hard) and testing it with a VGA connection to a computer? Since you can see the "e" it sounds like the backlight is working, but since your screen is blank it is not processing the incoming signal - hopefully it may be as simple as a disconnection / poor connection - eg when you installed the boot monitor perhaps you pulled on the cable going to the headrest monitor?

How many screens are you running? and do you have a video amplifier? if not this could be your problem is your running to many screens off a single video output
