hey..well i have had this problem with my rear coilovers since i put them in many yrs ago but are now sick of it hey.

just wondering if someone who's put there own rears in scribble up a diagram on how theyve set up and put the top mounts onto there rear coilover units? like as in what bushes theve used..which ones theve thrown and allso the washers and stuff too and in what order?

i remeber wen i first put the top mount onto the coilovers the threaded part ov the coiover didnt even poke thru enuf to put the nuts on.

any insight into this problem would be greatly appreciated! im sick of having all this rattling and clunking..its driving me nuts!

know how u feel buddy!!!

i think its the top 'helper' springs that is causing it.. but would be very interested to hear if there is another reason for this. I have noticed it is worse the stiffer the suspension is.

Just put 3-5mm worth of washers underneath the top nut on the shaft. It'll pull the whole mount down tighter.
