I have the Th - TW one here but does not have the bit I need for the TF on recoding the keys

Is it not the same as the later cars?

That is for the remotes, the keys them selves are different again, has been a long time since i did this and have forgotten lol

On a TJ at least, keys can't be recoded by us. You have to take it to Mitsubishi, and they take all your keys, plug in the MUTII and recode it. That cost ~$35 extra on top of the key from memory. One of them has 'lost' its programming now, so I may have to go back and get it done again. Worth doing on any new magna, so previous owners (someone working at europcar in my case) can't help themselves to your car
