Looking into this, and am pretty keen on doing it but im a bit of a nub at HID..

Is it possible to convert a TR?
Whats the process involved?

Should i just stick to fake HID bulbs compared to the conversion?

They give **** light.
Upgrade to some 100/90's with upgraded wiring. Dont go for this expensive HID crap

easier, but just so much glare.. HID's are more suited for projector setups, but still not as good as a proper genuine HID setup. been thinking about gettin a set for my car, brother is totally against it

EDIT: sticking fake HID bulbs would be giving the same result as those fake xenon globes, yes? if that's the case, i'm highly against this, as they screw up ur headlights something savage... my mates vx ss's headlights are ruined just coz of those xenon wannabe bulbs- and a pair of those blew up and melted in my dads old vx berlina a couple years ago resulting in a layer of something on the inside of the headlights

Dayumm hojo thats weird for the xenons to do that.. ive got a pair in mine that ive had for the last 6 months or so and they do a really good job...

Just gotta get some BA9S LEDs to replace FUGLY yellow bulbs i have in there aswell..

Might Stick to those new "illegal" phillips globes, heard good things about them.

they look like those no name ebay crap globes so i don't think you can compare those to globes likes phillips crystal and diamond vision which are $100-$150 a pair were as those look like the $14.99 specials

i wasn't comparing, i was just saying that i (personally) don't like those imitation xenon/HID globes for this reason - also, these were $40 bulbs

the philips bulbs are different, they are either standard halogen bulbs or specific designed xenon globes built for the assembly.. none of those xenon wannabe halogen bulbs

all i was showing is that those xenon wannabes can be pretty dangerous for ur car
