has anyone had a slipping "well not slipping but" not selecting 4th gear straight away... it revs high between 3rd and 4th!
if you have had this or know how much it is for repair please let me know!

Are you saying that there is a rpm flare from 3rd-->4th?

Have you disconnected the battery recently??

Reving hard or just cruising around???

I had a problem like that with mine after a battery disconnect...
went to mitsubishi and they relearned the auto trans with the MUT-II problem instantly gone... better on fuel and much more smooth!!

Have you done obvious things like check fluids and possible flush it if you can?

Has the problem been intermittent or did it happen all of a sudden after a particular event?

How long has it been progressively getting worse?

Sounds like the selectors in the gear box have gone i have seen and had the problem B4 where i couldn't get reverse on neutral good time for a manual conversion.

I agree. Mine has been doing the same for a while. Just waiting for it to go completely. I flush system every 20000km. seems to help a bit

Kinda like running your engine with no oil, seizing it then putting oil in and expecting it to run perfectly fine.

Damage has been done already.
