Fairly new around here, just got a Fusion tube sub, chucked her in the boot, all wired up and working and all.
Just as a reference, info on this sub is at the following link:
http://www.fusioncaraudio.com/en/australasia/car-audio-1/activeenclosures-8/enat1100-24-product.aspx
I am pretty unfamiliar with this kind of thing, I have installed several head units before, wired speakers up, etc etc... however, I have never had to secure a sub anywhere. Not really room on this sub to drill holes or anything, is there anything that anyone could recommenced as far as securing this thing without looking like I have made a mess of my boot?
Currently, we are using some cabling to stop it from moving anywhere, and it's working really well, just looks like garbage is all...
Anyone got any ideas?

go to bunnings and grab some velcro. That stuff is awsome.

Or go to clark rubber and get some 50mm sticky back hook sided velcro.
Double it over sticky side to it self. One side will stick to the box other side to your carpet.
Problem solved.

I might have a look at this. I will probably just find some way of securing the carpet down so I can use some velcro and just go from there. Might post my make shift harness up here later for a laugh. Cheers!

Get some new carpet. they sell it at bunnings too. take out the old stuff in the boot, measure it up roughly so you know how much to get and then when you have the new stuff, lay the old stuff on top as a template and cut. it will make a MASSIVE difference to the look of your boot which is great when showing people your sub! and it doesn't cost much either.

you could always try some elastic straps
had them on my sub box, worked a treat
should be able to get them from your local audio shop

L Brackets, Liquid Nails, Tarzan grip will all work..... :D
You should really get a square box... much easier to hold still....

if you're not going to take your sub out, and your carpet is rooted anyway, then just cut through it, stick one side of the velcro on that and the other side on your sub, and wholah.
I've been using velcro for ages and works a treat.

Yeah, I had that idea as well, but don't wanna spend too much on the boot before I plan out what I wanna do in there... i should be able to figure something out short term. The makeshift harness I'm using at the moment looks crapola, but its not like I wanna show the boot off just yet. Sounds crazy at the moment, so I might leave it at that until I can get in, measure the thing up, and figure out what I wanna do in there.
Cheers!!:P
