So i took the plunge today and splashed out on some new 18"s for the 380, will post pics later when it's not so dark outside :D.
So as it stands iv'e got my stock sx rims if anyone wants them i have a thread in the for sale area if anyone is interested post there or maybe send me a PM.
I can say that Black and Silver two tone rims look gorgeous on a metallic blue car.....now all i need is to get it lowered and then get the extractors put on.

Well done mate, look forward to seeing pics of the car. I would be very keen (and I'm sure Grubco would be also) to check out your car if you get extractors!!!

Hi, yes I'm impressed too. I'm a big fan of black and silver rims on dark (or black) cars. I'm just about to put 19s on mine soon (silver rim wheel with black spokes). Waiting for tax refund - did the return yesterday, so very soon now!
Be sure to post some pics (add them to the Post Your Ride thread), and put a good one in your profile.
As for the extractors, I would be interested to see how it goes after that. I highly recommend some dyno power runs.

I can definitely vouch for the extractors, huge improvement! Just be prepared for CEL if you don't get the O2 sensors in the right place.

I'm gonna get it done by Liverpool Exhausts the people who make the extractors for RPW so i'm gonna assume that they know all about the O2 sensors positions.

Don't think anyone really knows, mine were put where RPW suggested. I've been looking on the 9G forum in the US & it seems that they have had some success by installing spacers with various size holes between the pipe & the sensor.
Anyway will be interesting to see how you go, if the CEL doesn't come up I will be interested to see the location of yours. Other than that it doesn't make any difference to the performance, just means theres a yellow engine light on the dash permanantly.
Funny thing with mine is if I reset it I can drive for ages with it off & it seems to come up after a long run, then stop, then a restart while it is still warm & bang there she goes. I think also when I switched to 100 octane it stayed off longer.

Fair call i know it needs to be lowered and that will be taking place next week.
But each to their own personally i think anyone putting those 20" solid chrome rims on their cars is an idiot :D

I like them. A definate stand-out now. With the silver bits going right to the edge (cleverly right over the rim), it makes the wheels look a little bigger than they are. I see a lot of cars with this wheel, though there are 2 or 3 slight variations to it, by different makers, etc. Big O have one called Medusa which I looked at before.
And I agree needs to be lowered; that was the first thing I noticed. Do that and you'll have a better ride & handling too. You won't regret it!!!
Also dislike those full chrome wheels (like Dolce DC-12), too bling bling.

Yeah i was trying to decide between these and some advanti's that were much the same the price swung me in the end these were a couple hundred dollars cheaper.

Your wheels look good....will look even better after its lowered.
Foozrcool, did the extractors make your car much louder & does it drone at all?

Yep I put the extractors on after the twin exhaust & it did make it louder. It drones a bit at lower loaded revs but once up in the revs or highway driving its fine. I think it sounds gr8!

Deff agree with that mate! hate cromeys

Sorry but I am so over those wheels now, they are the new BBOSS Elenors which super seeded the ROH Furys to a lesser extent, I'm not a fan myself, I think they are a rim with alot going on there, edges, different colors, lip, they are whack.
Of course you like them and thats all that counts but i would of gone for something else personally if I was buying new

Have to agree, they're the definition of fussy and suit nearly nothing.

Very interested the progress of this.
Considering having it done myself.
Do liverpool exhausts sell the headers. Paying to frieght them to perth first, then to brisbane is just madness.
How did the sensor positioning go?

Not had it done ywt, waiting on having a few more dollars in the bank account before gong ahead with it. They should just sell you the headers cutting out RPW, whom i'm not even sure is still selling them, so psotage should be straight from NSW to QLD.

A very worthwhile mod, I have just ordered some o2 sensor spacers so will see if I can get rid of the CEL.
In the states on the Galant & Eclipse cars they are getting 20-30 WHP after fitting extractors.
