So basically was about to leave one of my parents houses for a drive, i thought id change the spark plugs over and after i had done the first 3 the 4th came out easily as pie.. Going back in however is where my night ended. It turns out the hole is threaded.. And i have to somehow get it to a mechanic to re thread..

Just wondering if anyone knows how much this will set me back,

A good mechanic can do a helicoil for you for $100 or less

Try a couple of the mobile mechanics and see if they can do it for ya and how much they want.
