Hey guys,

I've been looking for some intense yellow foglight globes as of late (fairly cheap hopefully) and I've had no luck. Just wondering if anyone knew where to get a decent set pretty cheap. I thin the globes I need are H3's, but i'm not sure. I'll have to check when I get home.

Thanks in advance,
Ian.

626, although I believe the actual housing itself is yellow, not the globe.

that was the case on the 626 I was looking at at the start of the year, although I have seen some with clear glass...so maybe they use yellow globes?

I'm reluctant to go to autobarn/SCA etc because generally they'll plug their own product...

Whats the big deal with that, if they sell yellow globes then they sell what you want, who cares what their opinion on each brand is.

you can be sure I wont get the yellow globes for $15 a pair at autobarn is what I meant...the usual line is "you could get them on ebay but they're usually crap n give out low amounts of light...so these ones are great"

There probably right... but that being said any Yellow globe will give out alot less light than a white globe.

In autosalon mag a while back they did a bulb comparison ranging in price from $19 to $150 a pair and the $39 super cheap auto globes came 2nd!

If they were the calibre ones then I'd agree (and I don't work for them anymore so I'm not plugging them) For the $25-$30 you pay they are a very good globe for the price!.

Yann89 - FYI SCA Don't sell yellow globes and I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure autobarn don't sell them either.

48521BL,That is the part number for the Narva "All weather globe" in H3 55W fitment, they have a yellow bias and are suited to adverse conditions, try sprints,autobarn,motortraders,ahdown/ingram or bursons as they all stock narva from memory,im sure they are still available although the market for such a light is bloody small,so i may be wrong, the phone is your friend, just quote that part number

Cheers

I currently have the Narva all weather globes in my KH fog lights and yeah they have a slight yellow tinge to them.
I was running them in my KJ fog lights as well but one blew and i cant get replacments as they dont make the all weather any more so i put a set of Phillips +50% in the fogg lights as the replacment and i was absolutely amazed at the difference in light output.
I recon it pumps out twice as much light with the +50's in. I even thought i had my headlights on and not my fog lights they are that bright.

At the time of putting the first lot of All weather in, i also asked if there is a Yellow bulb as such like the mazda's and i was told that the closest i will get is the all weather, and that yellow in those cars is actually the lense and not the bulb.

I wouldnt recomend the All weather even though you cant get them anyway now, because the yellw tinge takes some of the brightness out of the light and also the fact that the fog lights dont put out much light anyway, you sometimes struggle to see if they are on even at night the light output is so little with the all weather.

My advice is go the Phillips +50%. Massive improvment.
