Hey ppl. I have a quick question. I have my subs sitting normal in my sealed box, rearward facing. With the baby due very soon, i am going to turn my sub box around (instead of inverting)so i stil have boot room and so the subs dont get damaged by the pram or anything.
Anyhoo, by doing that, do i need to reverse the polarity?

If you are just turning the whole box around then you wont need to reverse polarity, if you are physically reverse mounting the sub then you will have to.

When i had mine reverse mounted (looked pimp btw) we had to reverse polarity, then when i mounted it properly due to convinience factor we switched it back to normal.

Yeah i thought of a grill but if it didnt totally cover the subs then there is the chance of someone (the mrs) carelessly throwin a pram in and doing some damage. Ill just turn box around for now. Subs will be off most of the time now anyway with the baby in there. Boring i know. Lol

You can get a speaker grill as well dude.

But yes if you sub was more in phase with the fronts they way it was, then if you turn it around then yeah reverse the polarity. You should actually leave it like it is, turn it around listen to a few songs then reverse it. See which one sounds like it is coming from the front with your speakers, well without phase control, as close as possible. :D
