I've purchased a New Isotta Steering wheel for my 98 TF magna (non-airbag) model, now i'm just trying some info about a boss kit. i used the search function but didnt get the info i was looking for.

My Question is, are the 2nd Gen & 3rd Gen compatible with the same boss kit??
I did find this tho.

Alls I know is that i bought a TE/F model wheel for the TR...it fit like a dream but made for quite a bit of stuffing around to get the horn to work...in the end got it working...and now it fits fine. i would'nt be so sure about the evo one though. it would make sense that with the lancer being a smaller car (im more ways than one), the boss would be slightly smaller. i dunno, just thinking aloud now...do some research, maybe ring mitsi and find out?

Judging by that a stock 3rd Gen will fit on a 2nd Gen so would that mean its the same with an aftermarket boss kit.

Also to confuse me more is this

MAGNA - MIRAGE - SATRIA FROM 98, LANCER FROM 96, GALANT FROM 93 is One type

and

COLT - MAGNA - MIRAGE FROM 89 TO 98, TRITON UTE FROM 96, GALANT FROM 89 TO 93
LANCER FROM 10/92 TO 96, PAJERO 1991 ON is a different type

My car is a 1998 so which do u think i would need????

Also

Where have other 3rd Genners got theres from??? and wat did they pay

Boss kit for steering wheel?

I walked into Autobarn and said i needed a boss kit for my TF magna, handed over $40-45 dollars and that was that.
Should be next to no issues at all getting one.

Getting the original steering wheel off the car was a bit harder.. had to break the prick just to get at the bolts I rounded off.

Call up autotechnica or SAAS mate and they will be able to tell you 100% what is the right one for your car
