Did my manual conversion last weekend! Loving it!:) Many thanks to 91OWS and YLD35L for there advice and assistance. Only one problem now. My ABS light on the dash lights up and stays on continuously. As far as I know I didn't touch anything to do with the ABS, but I have checked the ABS ECU connection and it seems to be fine. any suggestions? Was there a connector on the old auto box that has to do with the ABS, speed sensor or something?
Thanks.

You've probably thrown up an error at some point powering up the car when part of that system may have been disconnected. If you've got access to a Data scan module then you can scan the car for errors, see what pops up. Reset anything that appears, if it stays cleared no problems, if it comes back then you know you've got an issue.
I did this with my SRS system when I changed the steering wheel, resetting the code fixed it, just gotta have access to one of the machines. Evoscan might do it for the ABS error, SRS ecu isn't available on the Evoscan software as yet afaik so you'll need to get your hands on a proper scan tool for that one, maybe ask a mechanic.
