hey guys,
i have a 97 TE Magna Exec and need to replace the antenna mounted on the rear left hand side of the car. the problem is its not an electric one cause there is no motor assembly, all there is is a tube connected to the bottom of the mount which goes into the body. is this a gas or air powered unit of sum sort? any feedbak would b really helpful.
thanx

thanxhehe.. nah, thats the drain tube.... lets the water out of the aerial unit (when it rains the water can get in down beside the aerial.... the cable comes out from the side of the unit. you can just pull the drain off and replace the rest with out any probs.

If i was you, i would upgrade that current antenna to those new Coathanger areals that are all the rave with the Kingswood owners.
I've installed one on my Verada and it looks special.
Mines in the shape of Australia! pretty kooky eh?
Everywhere i go people say "Hey! nice antenna Wayne Carr".
Dunno who Wayne Carr is, but i reckon people are getting us confused. Maybe he has a Verada with a Coathanger antenna too!
Anyone in SA want them installed i can do it on Sundays for a price of $50.

can you bend one in the shape of a hand giving people the finger? i reckon that will go nicely on my M5 BMW.

yeah but i charge extra for fingers and other body parts. $85 for the finger on a Beamer. Also, not responsible for any damage caused during installation.
