Get a piece of rag and slide it behind the handle clip
pull it left and right to try and flick the clip up, you'll know when its off
Commonly known as "jesus" clips as once there off your like jesus where did that go!

Removed mine last saturday because of a screwed regulator, go to repco and pick yourself up a window winder clip remover (piece of flat metal in a shape like a fork), about $5 and they push the clip straight off

Bit like the Jesus Head Gasket, or the Jesus Timing Belt/Chain. Just flies off at random and leaves a path of destruction behind it. :P
Those clips are notorious though, luckily in the case of the window winders they can only really hit one place- the ground. (If you're removing the clips for the TPS or distributor plug though, the same type of clip, it can and will land in the hardest to reach possible place.)
Real name for those window winder clips is "Circlips" by the way.

tufftr is right in what he says, i was a working in a mechanical shop for about 6 years and that was the way we got them off every time. just pull the rag in the opposite direction of the handle and wiggle it back and forth and it will come off.

Jesus clips available from car parts place. Pack of four.
Now its no longer "Jesus, where did that go?" now its "Gosh, where is my packet of spare clips?"

When you put it back on, wind up the window first and put the winder in a spot where it won't interfere - my knee rests on it - bloody annoying when you get it wrong . . . . .
