I have the big one installed in the center, other that that I have some front map lights, but what are those smaller ones?
smaller ones go in the c pillars behind the passengers. The larger one is supposed to be in the middle where the existing courtesy light is.
Do you have the bracket for the larger one?

umm.. I installed the big one in the front when i did mine. it is Huge and has an angled fitting bracket
i don't know about putting it in the centre of the car to replace the current one, as the depth of this big one doesnt look like it would fit
also, it has the two small map lights for the people in the front. like most cars.

that angled bracket on the back, that fits perfectly in the front centre of the car
this is all for my 3rd gen

Oh no, that will be a problem. I don't have the bracket.

Get one from the wreckers. AFAIK, the later 3rd gen Veradas had them at the front, angled
back with the smaller ones on the C-Pillar. I personally prefer the setup in my old KS where
the main one was in the centre with the side map lights acting as rear reading lights and a
separate maps light were at the front.

ah, i was wrong then. you can have the big ones in both positions.
id put it in the front, so you have more lights :D
unless you have those small front map lights
All the 3rd gen Verada's have them up front, they're not designed to be in the middle of the roof, some 2nd gen owner thought it'd be a good idea once and its kinda stuck!
I'll take photos when I go back out to the car so you can see where they're supposed to fit. You'll probably be wanting the rest of the C Pillar from a Verada to fit the lights, would make the job leaps and bounds easier.
Also to be properly wired, the rear map lights need to be wired up to constant AND to the door release on the corresponding rear door depending on how you want them to function. They're supposed to come on when the correct door is opened on the older 3rd gen verada's (KE-KF), and when any door is opened on the newer Verada's (KH on).

Yep, had all that in my KH. The lights inside the TL look absolutely crap in comparison, like something from the 80s!
