Okay so planning to put some KYBs on my TJ sedan cos the shocks on there now have seen much better days and are making my tyres wear un-evenly I think. I'm not really interested in new springs though, and I know that shocks and springs need to be matched otherwise the ride and handling do all sorts of strange things (springs can't keep up with shocks or vice versa)... The KYBs aren't too stiff for the standard springs are they? I mean, there's no point in putting new shocks on there if they will just wear prematurely cos they are doing all the work for the spring.

Depends on the K's really, but KYB's are an excellent shock absorber amd do mate very well to original springs.
