Heya guys as some of you know i damaged the skirting on my series 2 platinum a while ago. Anyway i saw a body works company today and was quoted $500 to repair the section of skirting, but at the same time he told me that for $750 he could fit custom skirt's as well as treating the damaged skirt so it wouldn't rust out.

So i need some ideas for what would look good, i've been doing some research and looking at body kits but i can't seem to find anything i like, i have some photo's in the post my ride thread with the new rims(which will be getting lowered tomorrow i hope) so if you don't know what a series 2 platinum in metallic blue looks like you can go there and get an idea.

I'm not sure how "customised" the side-skirts are going to be that you are talking about. I thought Platinums already had the full VRX/GT bodykit, or do they only have the front & rear bars? If only front and rears, you could certainly get the (VRX/GT spec?) sideskirts added now while the work is being done. Otherwise, leave it standard - which is probably what I would do. My 'base model' is totally standard in body form, and it doesn't bother me at all.

I agree the standard kit looks good clean simple lines, but in saying that i want my car to stand out a bit from the crowd, i'm not going to go over board and rice it i would have to shoot myself if i ever went that far :D

Been looking for a few days now but it's hard to imagine what kits would look like on my car.

Edit: Having looked at a few pics the skirting is same across the whole range, at a guess i'd say the VRX/GT only have diff front and rear bar.
