Anyone with sprintex units having the 6pk work itself off the top pulley? checked mine this arvo and the first rib has moved itself off the pulley?

Any ideas on fixing this minor issue?

So it is still moving off the top pulley not good. Has the rattley noise gone away or still there?

Never had this problem or heard of it happening to another Sprintex supercharger. Could be a lack of belt tension perhaps?

Could be that the belt is worn and just slipping off?

nah the belt is fine, no cracks and no missing ribs on it, and also im sure it has plenty of tension as its a mongrel to get the tensioner down enough to slip the belt on.

PK series belts and pullies often have only 2 things that give dramas

1. BELT TENSION

2. ALIGNMENT OF ALL PULLY and IDLERS

Check both out, will be one or the other

also check all your other pulleys that the belt runs on, if one has a chip or crack in it then it could jump off there and pull its way around.

I'm pretty sure I threw in the spacer, on mine the spacing was fine, but some of the vehicles its needed to get the top pulley in line with the crankshaft.

Yeah I would say this.

My belt used to jump off because it didn't have enough tension.
