iam think about swapping my ugly 18s for a pair of 17`` 2002 tickford rims. Has anyone on here put a pair on there car or no of anyone doing it.
I want rims no bigger than 18s maybe 19s that would tuck under nicely so i can drop the back of my car a bit more.

Yeah should fit fine, PCD is the same, offset is a bit different though, rims might hang out a bit.

yeah offset is the only thing to look out for
if the car is very low there could be problems depending on the width of the rim, i'd try and get a set of 225/50/17 tyres to be on the safe side

Yeah my brothers had falcon rims on it when he bought it. they hang out a bit . probably wouldn't work if you want to slam your car too much.

ford rims stick out alot, well not alot but if your thinking of going low def need to roll your gurads. and if you wanna cut the bumps, dont bother with ford rims. put your fingers up under the guards, there is a lil nobbly bit that perturdes further than the rest of the tub, that will eat your tread like a razor blade. But if you must, find a angle grinder and a big hammer, that will fix it.
you wont have a problem with going low on bigger wheels either. i got 20's on my wagon tucking rim, i just dont accept more than 1 passengerlol
Ford rims are readily available and relatively cheap.
Are there legality or Insurance issues with fitting wheels of a different offset?
Could they affect the operation of the suspension or effect wear and tear?
