AhHHHHH! Some F#*K weasel decided the front arch extension on my VRX would be the PERFECT place to deposit their gum... which really shits me cause I was parked at the very back of a small town airport car park, & the closest car to mine was a Merc about 5 parks away!
I got most of it off last night, but it's already gone really hard in the rain, & I don't have the foggiest how to remove it with damageing the paint!
Can anyone help? Anything would be appreaciated!

At work, they use aerogard for removing just about anything from paintwork on cars. They use it to remove any gummy stuff left when they remove the company logo stickers from the flanks before they sell the car.
Otherwise, try eucalyptus oil. Gets bandaid goo off your leg when you have skinned your knee.

A few ways...
The Best Way... Freeze the gum, if you can find a way of doing it.
Second, soak it till it's soft and yucky and painfully peel it
Last, apply Tea Tree Oil on a cloth and soak it then clean it off in one single firm wipe and throw away the cloth, IF you want to keep the cloth, throw it in the freezer and a few hours later, taking the gum out of the cloth will be easy.

To freeze the gum - use a can of electronic freeze spray - its really cool :P
-30 degrees IIRC...

Or get that fart in a can stuff (you know the electronics dusters of compressed hydrocarbon) hold it upside down and squirt.

use Mr Sheen. That bold **** knows his products. I even used Mr Sheen to clean my car up after I debadged it. Worked great. Only took about 30 seconds to take the muck off.

If none of that works, try Big Kev's Goo-Remover. I once used it to remove road tar and camel hair from my friends goatee.
Smells like Mandarin! You can also get a more budget version (yes! more budget than Big Kev's) called Mandarin Magic. works the same and smells almost as good........
