Sup all, can anyone recommend somewhere to do an LPG conversion? Looking to get a dedicated LPG injection system. Cheers.

Just a question but why are you looking at dedicated LPG?

Simpler, boot space, etc. Can sell other parts and make a little extra money back.

I think they will still have to put the tank in the boot. There isnt much room under the car to replace the petrol tank with LPG tank(s). But maybe if you are after power you could look into the new liquid injection system? It is meant to give a good power gain.

Ah, right, so it's definitely called liquid injection. Good. I've read about it on SkylineAu forums, a guy put his Stagea on liquid injected LPG and the results were pretty damn good - his installation was dedicated, but I think the tank was way out the back so maybe a tank in the boot is the only option anyway? hmm... cheers!

From Wikipedia...

Liquid phase injection systems do not use a converter, but instead deliver the liquid fuel into a fuel rail in much the same manner as a petrol injection system. These systems are still very much in their infancy. Because the fuel vapourises in the intake, the air around it is cooled significantly. This increases the density of the intake air and can potentially lead to substantial increases in engine power output, to the extent that such systems are usually de-tuned to avoid damaging other parts of the engine. Liquid phase injection has the potential to achieve much better economy and power plus lower emission levels than are possible using mixers or vapour phase injectors.

Cheers for that. Just rang parnells they don't do anything to do with liquid injection so i think i'll find out who actually does through one of the LPG technology websites first.

With a name like ABBA watch out they might use some sort of sauna hot rock method.:bowrofl:

my mistake, Parnell only do vapour, the others do injection as my old boy had it fitted to his Pajero at one,but both will do it for you

Don't know about LPG installations but my brothers and old man get their cars serviced at ABBA and they've got pretty good service from what they've said

I am about to get Vapour injection put in my AWD and asked the question of Liquid injection as it isn't much more expensive than Vapour.

I was told we are looking at 18 months at least before it gets to our cars. It will be avaliable in new cars very soon being a few months on demand but older cars(not current models) such as ours wait their turn in the pecking order.
