I want to put my sub where my spare tyre is and cut a whole in the carpet and fibre glass over it so I can see it
How would I do this and would the fibreglass have to be ported? Also whats my best method of mounting the sub? I don't want a wedged box one because it wouldn't be level with the carpet if you get my point
Does the fibre glass need to be ported and stuff? Thanks

You can have it as a sealed box, just be careful if you put anything on top of the cone, so get a grille of some description. Also you should think of where to fit your spare tyre too.

Nowhere near enough space for a ported enclosure (because of the volume), unless you're removing the spare tyre as well (not smart).
I looked into it, but there wasn't enough space for the ~28L enclosure I wanted for my Alpine SWR-1221D.

Just rip the spare out and get a can of tyre goo, thats what I plan on doing for my gas conversion, as im getting a donught tank in the spare wheel well, but dont really want my spare standing up in the boot :doubt:
I dunno but I reckon here flat tyres are so rare, and the tyre goo should be fine to get you home in 90% of cases. If all else fails that is what the roadside assist is for
