id say do it because i like spending other peoples money for them.

Ive done before and after rides in cars with MSD upgraded ignitions before (mostly S series Nissans) and yeah there is a noticeable benefit, but there cars also had aftermarket stand alone ecu's which were also tweaked at the time.

Unless there are massive deficencies in the stock igntion system (maybe when turbocharged?) its kinda like putting chrome handles on a coffin.

With something like this, a fuel trim computer would also be a huge benefit, 1 for the fuel tweaking, and 2 cuz ive found a lot of igntion systems require a plug change when fuelling is played with, due to the extra heat in the combustion chamber, and this excess heat will also breakdown the effectivness of the standard igntion spark. Thats what ive found in my fiddlings

I used to run a MSD-7AL (actually still got it in the garage somewhere) on my old high boost turbo machine, it was the only thing that would still create effective spark while pushing 28PSI of boost into the cylinders. It used to eat coils but, too much power, had to run the MSD blaster setup.

So for me yeah made a big difference but not sure how you'ld go now on the modern engines with multicoils etc etc
