hi all, today I bought a 96 magna (te i think) and i started to remove the centre dash section to put in a new head unit but ive struck a few probs. Firstly, how do i remove the ashtray unit in the bottom of the centre surround,i can pull the top out and see two clips but the bottom seems fairly secure still, and next the surround around the top of the dash(where the lo-fuel light is and the vents are). I can pull it out but its connected by a cable going to the side of the vents and I cant seem to see how to get this off. Also when I bought the car I noticed that the controls in the centre have fallen back a bit and are not hard up against the surround(if you know what I mean) and I noticed that they are supposed to be screwed to the back of the centre part of the fascia then the top surround and then the ashtray replaced last >Im not sure if Ive described myself properly but please be patient as Im only new here. thanks shaun
