im looking to replace my exhaust AGAIN , THANKS ALOT D&T EXHAUST not only did i waste 2 grand on the shitting exhaust but it reduced my power output.
now back to the point i want a strait through system to avoid bends so i was thinking a strait exhaust and then under the back diff and then strait out a cannon type muffler , ive seen heaps of these but can someone take a photo from underneath or explain to me how you clear the components under the car and ground clearence. and if you can have the muffler at a angle.
any info would be great

Widow im sure you know if you go to big and "straight through" you will loose backpressure which will really make your car drive like a slug.
Its very easy to have a cannon slightly angled for that ricey racer look.

yeah the things is my current exhaust is very shit so i was gonna get a strait through 2 1/4 that way i dont need to worry about bends. ive seen a few photo's of guy's with cannon's come on guys :D i saw a local magna with a canon but it was just mounted on strait which i dont think suits it

Nah the angled cannons rock! Straight is just boring
Im not sure what im gonna do with my ehaust. Im thinkinging dropping my exhaust size down to 2.25 and when they branch of to two seperate 2 inch pipes or maybe even 1.5
I dunno, this dual exhaust could be tricky with my 2.4 4G64. If i go to big it will really drive like a slug.

you could run stock untill the mid muffler get a mid muffler that has 1 input and 2 output's , like some of the falcodores and then say you run 2 1/2 normally run 1 1/4 off each side , there is plenty of room underneath so it should be fairly easy. some dual exhaust's look nice, when i had my lancer i saw another one with "Dual exhausts" but you could see light through the "exhaust" tip that was just stuck on , i got a quote to get a proper dual exhaust on my lancer it was somthing like $450 catback. bit of a waste on a 4G15 plus i was thinking of selling it at the time

Yeah will do something like that...
But im doing my ehaust in 2 stages, first cat back dual exhaust. Then Im getting race tuned extractors, new flex pipe and new cat.

Give a little thought to an adjustable Supertrapp.

I dont know what you mean my "race tuned extractors" but i assume they are made for racing i would avoid these are they are normmally tuned to work in the absolute maximum rev's like 4500 to 6000 so around town they would suck. i got coated pacmakers and they are nice.

They are just 4 into 1 extractors, except the 4 individual pipes are much loner past the sump than normal which is supposed to aid torque and the pipe diamameter is stepped up at key points to alow for gas expansion... Thats what i've been told anyway
hardhead, whats an adjustable Supertrapp?

Okay, for a start if you are going to use the RPW headers, they will definately work, they're a good looking piece with all the right bends and expansions.
A Supertrapp is a muffler/resonator that has adjustabel plates in the back, you can add or take away disc's to gain the optimum power, noise, whatever you're looking for. Do a google search and check their website out. Not cheap, but like just about every performance part, you pay for what you get.
Widow, whats the story with your exhaust, give us the run-down again, maybe it's only a minor thing, we're all here to help each other.
