damn thats good!

gotta give that guy someting, hes done a good job of it as well - it looks quite factory spec...

thought moving the climate controls to the where the center vents where was a good idea, but looks a little..unfinished, i think more the lip that is below the controls and above the screen area.

good way to get a bigger screen in there too tho!

Damn, that's tidy. Interface would kill any out-of-the-box 2DIN solution...

the left and right vents would just be pushing out a higher volume of air - so its not as if you wouldnt be getting any aircon, just from one side of you! haha

if someone here was to do something similar, a smarter idea might be to still keep the center vents, but make them very narrow / not tall - like 1/3rd of thier original size above the moved climate control facia, to maintain an even spread of airflow..
thats my thoughts anyhow

lol i have the same monitor mounted to my boot lid. also set up my home 37" lcd in my boot when its in shows. have about another 6-7 screens with 2 more on the way (sitting waiting to be installed.) :P:P

woob- looked into the same thing with my 10.4" but becomes a big job due to the curvature of the dash, hence im getting an 8" mounted there :P now to find an upholsterer that will cut my dash :P

nah woulda been piece of pie, i was doing the work myself. its one giant hollow space behind that bit of the dash, easily modified for a 19" widescreen, but oh well

Ah nothing like a 19" screen for your passengers head to smash into in the event of an accident. lol

Just take a photo of a stock dash, and make that display on the screen the whole time, no one will be any wiser to it:shifty:
