i was looking at the old brochure for my car yesterday, and notcied the the advance and the altera LS came with LPG compatible engine as standard.
it says there were special engine components
does any one know what components they are talking about?

does it say what type of LPG?
SVI or blow through (or whatever its called?)
would imagine just hardened valve seats would be the only major difference there?
someone will correct me tho :)

Just going from the fact it's an Altera he's talking about, I'd assume it's mixer style as the SVI wasn't available till 2003-4.
